What is this blog for?
The purpose of this blog is to share opinions about the Anglo-Saxon literature.
I will post some comments and questions about the topics discussed in class and you have to participate expressing your own points of view. You need to check the blog constantly 'cause depending on your classmates' opinions or ideas, you will answer. It means that you must participate more than once for each comment I post. Make the blog a dynamic window where we can share links, ideas and opinions that can help us learn more about the British and American Literature.

The importance of all those devices remains in giving the complete structure, formation and relation of every single aspect inside the text( novel , comic :D and so on). So it is important because we can use it as tools in order to undertand the author intentions and the complete meaning of a text.

ResponderEliminarI´m agrre with ali, using literary devices will help to make the story more clear for us (readers) and also to make it more interesting. However those devices in some cases are not well used and they usually confuses us. That´s why Coherence is the most important device.

My favorite literary genres are horror and suspense novels, I confess that I grew up watching horror movies, that´s why I like the novels of this genre, I congratulate you for choosing the pet cemetery and the portrait of Dorian Gray. I've already seen the movies but read the novels is much more frightening and exciting for me!.
ResponderEliminarI always had enyoyed the horror-suspence novels such as: Carrie, Silent of the Lambs, Six Sense and the real classic "The Phantom of the Opera" and "Psychosis" written by Alfred Hitchcock.
